This is a writing sample from Scripted writer Brandon Michael

If you're in Cokato, MN and in need of the best pizza, we have a few suggestions. There are a few places to choose from right here in town and others nearby that can all satisfy your craving, whatever it might be.

3 of the Best Pizza Joints Near Cokato, MN

Casey's

For the folks here in Cokato, "pizza" is just about synonymous with Casey's. They do both pickup and delivery, and they regularly offer specials. Casey's also has a grocery, and we recommend their salt and vinegar chips and pumpkin spice donut holes if you're looking for something other than pizza!

As for the pizza, you can of course create your own, get single-topping pizzas, or get standard meat or veggie pizzas; but they also have a great taco pizza, bacon cheeseburger pizza, and a chicken, bacon, and ranch pie that you'll definitely want to eat again. Their breakfast pizzas come in sausage, bacon, or veggie, and don't forget buffalo wings, potato cheese bites, cheesy breadsticks, or one of their many salads.

Broadway B's Dining

This place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the pizza is just about the best item here. Get cheese sticks or breadsticks to go with your pizza, and if you need a protein hit, grab a chicken, fish, or shrimp basket. You can also get burgers and chicken dinners, and there's a kid's menu, too.

However, pizza is why we're here, and that's by far the most popular item at Broadway B's. You can add toppings to any of their specialty pizzas, which include the Supreme Hawaiian (think regular Hawaiian plus onion, bacon, and pepperoni), a great taco pizza, a chicken bacon ranch, the nacho pizza, and Lori's, which is sausage, pepperoni, onion, green peppers, and mushrooms. The cinnamon dessert pizza is a must-try item.

Mario's Italian Kitchen

If you're up for a little drive (maybe a date night?) try Mario's half an hour away in Watertown, MN at 201 Lewis Ave S. Their hand-rolled dough is followed up with premium cheese and freshly packed tomatoes from Italy. Everything they serve is as fresh as it gets. They also have live music, fair prices, and a great atmosphere that keeps people coming over and over. Keep an eye out for their food truck, too, which delivers their great pizza in nearby towns.

As for the pizza, we have to recommend the Reuben. Other unique offerings include the Royal, with their homemade sauce; the artichoke chicken, with olive oil and fresh garlic; the mac 'n cheese pizza; and the Meat Eater, which is just exactly what it sounds like. Don't forget the bread sticks, a tossed or Caesar salad, or some wings to go with it.

So there you have it: three amazing choices for pizza. Get something to go at Casey's and take it home. Head over to Broadway B's with the family for a low-cost, high-satisfaction meal. Take someone special over to Mario's for a date night. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong.
