is Co-founder and Head of Sales at Scripted.com. Ryan holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Still and always a Cal Bear, Ryan graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Economics and Environmental Sciences. After several years of doing everything from dishes to prospecting campaigns and even Rails and Python coding, he’s settled into the role of Scripted’s ambassador to the marketing community.
is Chief Revenue Officer at Scripted. A true child of Silicon Valley, J.D. spends most of his time helping to lead hyper-growth marketing and sales efforts at Scripted.com. Previously, he was the VP of Marketing for Zendesk where he helped drive them from an early startup through a successful IPO. J.D. held senior roles in marketing and product for companies including Marketo and Lyris.
is Director of Engineering at Scripted.com. When he is not baking pizza or brewing beer in his Oakland apartment, he is building beautiful applications in one of the many programming languages he has come to know. In a past life, he directed an outdoor leadership program for sixteen-year-olds, which was a convenient excuse for him to spend his summers in the Pacific Northwest’s Olympic Rainforest with a pack of awesome teenagers.
is the Director of Product at Scripted, where he is responsible for product management and product design. Originally from the East Coast and a coder at heart, Griffin received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University. Since then he’s had enterprise, small business, and consumer focused product management roles at Microsoft and Box. Outside of work he’s fueled by dark roast coffees, hoppy beer, and learning new recipes to cook.
is the Director of Freelance Operations. He penned his first piece for the school newspaper at the age of 6, and he’s been a writer and editor ever since. In his role at Scripted, he oversees the community of freelancers and ensures content flows smoothly from the first letter to the final revision. Even when he’s not tossing a mini-football in the air, you can find him obsessing about sports.
Jack is Vice President of Customer Success at Scripted. He focuses his energy on delighting our clients and supporting the team that drives customer retention and growth. Jack has spent his career in client-facing roles for technology-enabled companies running sales and customer success organizations throughout the Bay Area. Most recently, Jack headed up the enterprise solutions team for Upwork (formerly oDesk), helping large enterprises build and leverage large teams of freelancers to support their businesses. Prior to Upwork, Jack was Vice President of sales and client services at Accolo – leading the organization through a period of hyper-growth and landing them at #42 of the Inc. 500’s fastest growing company list.
is a Partner at Redpoint Ventures where he focuses his investments in the areas of consumer Internet, online marketing and SaaS opportunities. Chris led Redpoint’s investment in BlueKai (acquired by Oracle), Efficient Frontier (acquired by Adobe), Right Media (acquired by Yahoo!), and many others.
is a Partner at Crosslink Capital where he invests in Internet, software, and cloud infrastructure companies. He leads the Crosslink Capital Seed program and is also co-founder and president of alpha—the entrepreneurial networking club for more than 600 Founders and CEOs.
is the co-founder and Vice President of Product Marketing at Marketo. Jon leads Marketo’s product marketing, strategy, and content marketing initiatives, and is a frequent speaker and writer about marketing best practices.
is a founding Managing Director of Storm Ventures. He has incubated and invested in industry-leading mobile and SaaS companies, as the first or early investor.
